For too long, answers to financial questions have been reserved for the ultra-wealthy or those who can afford financial planners. While most financial companies align with major life milestones, in reality, money related questions come up every day and people don’t know where to turn.
For Nerdwallet's first-ever brand campaign, we pulled from the DNA of the brand to create Turn to the Nerds. From smaller moments like choosing a credit card with a better interest rate or receiving investing advice for a bonus check to major milestones like buying a house or planning for retirement, the campaign shows that people can easily "Turn to the Nerds" for financial clarity.

While it’s still early days in the campaign, we have seen an increase in both brand awareness and product usage since launch. And the original “turn to the nerds” ad was the most effective execution to date with NerdWallet’s primary target audience.
